Role Description

The product manager will have the autonomy to conceptualize the product strategy and roadmap, which will be translated into business and technical requirements for the implementation of digital products and applications. You are expected to be the conduit between the business, functional, and technical requirements, acting as a liaison between the business and development teams.

Required Skills

Primarily, you should be skilled in:

  • Manage and own the product life cycle, from ideation to go-to-market strategy.
  • Lead the team in customer-centricity.
  • Identify customer problems and prioritize these opportunities.
  • Work with product designers and engineers to design and prototype solutions.
  • Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development and QA teams.
  • Participate, drive, and deliver using the Scrum software development methodology.
  • Analyze and report on the product’s performance to stakeholders and the product director.
  • Lead agile sessions like grooming sessions, sprint retrospectives, etc. to drive
  • Lead user and product research exercises and workshops

Qualifications & Certificates

You are also expected to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in product management
  • Experience defining market and product requirements and working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning or messaging strategies and present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements and features and drive product management
  • High attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to deliver first-class customer experiences with a deep understanding of UX best practices.
