Role Description

The senior HR officer prepares compensation and benefits packages and sets up company policies and maintains updated employee records.

Required Skills

• Prepare and review compensation and benefit packages.
• Administer health and life insurance programs.
• Implement training and development plans.
• Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions.
• Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g., extra vacation).
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment.
• Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary
• Forecast hiring needs and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly.
• Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization.
• Monitor budgets by the department.
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.

Qualifications & Certificates

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social studies, or Industrial Engineering, languages, or equivalent
• HR credentials (e.g., PHR from the HR Certification Institute) are a plus.
• 4–7 years of proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position.
• Proven work experience as an HR specialist or HR generalist
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like BambooHR and PeopleSoft
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
• A solid understanding of labor legislation and the payroll process HR-L&D-JD 03-2023
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Team management skills
