Role Description

The senior HR officer is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks across the HR department and contributes to making the company a better place to work by ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

Required Skills

Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintaining proper documentation and filing systems for the employees’ database and HR records
  • Delivering the new joiners’ induction session(s) and making sure the induction material is up-to-date
  • Preparing training and development documents for the new recruits
  • Ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions coming from employees and managers
  • Running effective communication with the employees and managers through email and phone, as well as making announcements on behalf of the HR team, as needed
  • Ensuring that all the HR policies and procedures are properly followed and well updated
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection process by posting job ads, sourcing CVs, arranging for interviews, and conducting the interviews as needed
  • Issuing training and employment offers for the selected candidates, coordinating with them for signing the offers, and setting the joining date
  • Other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the direct supervisor or management.

Qualifications & Certificates

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Social Studies, Industrial Engineering, Languages, or equivalent

Experience

  • 4–7 years of proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position

Skills:

  • Very good command of English
  • General to deep knowledge of HR functions (pay and benefits, recruitment, training and development, etc.)
  • Good understanding of the labor law and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of HRMS are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Willingness to accept criticism and feedback in a positive manner and respond to coaching instructions
