Estarta was honored to welcome H.E. Eng. Sami Smeirat, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, during his visit to the company’s headquarters in Amman, as part of the Ministry’s ongoing engagement with leading national ICT companies.
During the visit, H.E. the Minister met with Estarta’s Chairman and Senior Leadership Team, where discussions focused on Jordan’s growing role in exporting advanced technology services, the importance of developing high-impact digital skills, and the contribution of the ICT sector to sustainable economic growth and job creation.
H.E. was briefed on Estarta’s journey as a Jordanian success story, having created over 2,100 job opportunities in the past six years, and its continued investment in building world-class technical capabilities. The visit highlighted Estarta’s strong expertise in advanced network engineering, with its professionals holding some of the highest-level global certifications, including CCIE, representing a significant share of certified experts in the region.
The visit also included an exchange on the importance of nurturing Jordanian talent, strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors, and reinforcing Jordan’s position as a trusted regional hub for digital services and innovation.
During the meeting, Estarta paid tribute to the legacy of its former CEO, the late Mutaz H. Nabulsi, whose leadership and vision left a lasting impact on the company. His contributions continue to inspire the team as Estarta builds on this legacy and advances its mission with purpose and resilience.
Estarta expressed its appreciation for H.E. Eng. Sami Smeirat’s continued efforts in supporting the ICT sector, promoting Jordanian digital capabilities globally, and enabling an environment where national companies and talent can thrive.
