On International Women’s Day, Amira ElAli, Head of Estarta’s Women Empowerment Committee, shares a personal reflection on the journeys, resilience, and impact of women everywhere.
International Women’s Day is often marked with celebration and recognition of achievements. This year, however, the moment invites a quieter reflection. In times when our region faces uncertainty, it feels more meaningful to pause and acknowledge the strength, resilience, and contributions of women – not only in major milestones, but also in the everyday dedication that shapes progress.
As Head of Estarta’s Women Empowerment Committee, I have the privilege of witnessing the impact women make across our organization and beyond. Every day, women contribute through leadership, expertise, creativity, and dedication. Their influence is evident not only in major achievements but also in the daily commitment to supporting teams, solving challenges, and building environments where others can grow.
At Estarta, the Women Empowerment Committee was established with a clear purpose: to support, encourage, and create opportunities for women to grow and thrive both professionally and personally. Empowerment is not only about titles or recognition, but it is about building a culture where every woman feels confident in her abilities and supported in her journey.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Estarta’s female employees across all our locations globally. Time and again, you have proven to be an example through your professionalism, integrity, and dedication. Your contributions strengthen our teams, enrich our culture, and play a meaningful role in the continued success of our organization. Thank you for the passion and excellence you bring to your work every day.
International Women’s Day also reminds us that every woman’s journey is unique. Behind every achievement lies a different story – different circumstances, responsibilities, challenges, and choices.
To every woman reading this: be proud of your achievements, whatever they may be. Do not compare your journey to that of colleagues, friends, relatives, or the carefully curated lives we often see on social media. Each life unfolds under different circumstances, and every success carries its own meaning.
Seek what truly fits you at each stage of your life. Allow your priorities to evolve as your life evolves. Invest in your growth, believe in your capabilities, and most importantly, treat yourself with the same kindness and respect you extend to others.
When you value yourself and prioritize your wellbeing, you become stronger and better able to give your best to your work, your family, and your community.
Today, we recognize not only the achievements of women but also their journeys, resilience, and quiet strength.
