Estarta Welcomed Mrs. Hanan Khader

Estarta welcomed Mrs.Hanan Khader, a Jordanian serial entrepreneur who was selected in 2013 by the U.S. Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs as a Leader in Technology at the TechWomen organization, where she represented Jordan in Silicon Valley. In 2015, she founded her initiative “Hello World Kids”, the first educational organization specializing in teaching Computer and Mobile Programming to children between the ages of 6 and 12. After three years, she was able to enroll her curriculum in more than 70 public and private schools for 36,000 Jordanian students.

Moreover, Mrs. Hanan is very active and enthusiastic about inspiring and motivating women and girls in the STEM field to stand for a new mission in their lives and in their society. The event was held under the joint project “Estars” between Estarta and the GIZ regional program ‘Economic Integration of Women in the MENA Region’ (EconoWin). The program is part of a special initiative designed to stabilize and promote development in North Africa and the Middle East and is run by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
